The Bada Chardham, also known as the
Chardham Yatra, is one of the most revered
pilgrimage circuits in Hinduism. It includes
four sacred destinations located in four
corners of India — Badrinath in the north
(Uttarakhand), Dwarkadhish in the west
(Gujarat), Rameshwaram in the south (Tamil
Nadu), and Jagannath Puri in the east
(Odisha). These sites are associated with
major deities — Vishnu and Shiva — and are
believed to cleanse sins and help attain
moksha (liberation).
The Bada Chardham Yatra is both a spiritual
